The Visqueen TreadGUARD 1500 is a heavy duty HDPE ridged plastic protection board with an embossed upper surface.
The board is 1m x 2m printed Visqueen TreadGUARD1500 for ease of identification.

Usage

The Visqueen TreadGUARD 1500 is used to protect construction membranes in heavy duty applications.
It is suitable In horizontal applications for the protection of dpm and gas membranes from rebars and following trades

Storage and handling

Store in a dry and clean environment in its current packaging. The Visqueen TreadGUARD 1500 should not be exposed to long
periods of ultraviolet light.

Preparation

Ensure the surface and working areas are not water logged and free from sharp protrusions.

Installation
Apply the TreadGUARD 1500 boards above the laid construction membrane and butt joint together. Joints can be taped with
VisqueenPro Single Sided Jointing Tape applied equidistant over the junction. Apply pressure to the tape to ensure adhesion.

Usable temperature range

The system is recommended to be used above 5°C.

Additional information

Ensure the membrane is free from sharp protrusions prior to using the board.
